About Bermagui CWA

Bermagui - David Rogers Photography

Bermagui is located on the Far South Coast of NSW between Narooma and Bega.

Our CWA Branch has been operating for the best part of 100 years and we have achieved some wonderful things.

Back in 1982, Bermagui CWA built four small housing units on our land specifically for people in need of affordable rentals. This was made possible through generous donations from a well-known family, the Sinclairs, and funding from the Federal Government. The Sinclair Units have been providing comfortable and affordable homes for pensioners for more than forty years.

20 years later the Bermagui CWA received a generous gift from the estate of the Late Mrs Florence Froggett. That bequest has been enhanced through astute investment, dedicated savings and a $200,000 grant from the NSW Government’s LSCA Program.

Right now, local builders Get Smart Constructions, are well underway on site, but we must raise $100,000 more to complete the project.
